DiabetesPal is a comprehensive diabetes management software that is now available on iPad. It also has companion apps for iPhone and OS X, all of which can be found on the App Store. With the ability to sync data using iCloud, Dropbox, or WebDAV, DiabetesPal ensures that your information is accessible across all your devices. By using the iOS app to input data throughout the day and analyzing it on your desktop, you can effectively manage your diabetes.
Key features of DiabetesPal include:
- Tracking all relevant information for diabetes management, such as blood sugar levels, insulin dosage (bolus and basal), medications, ketone levels in mmol/L and free form, HbA1C, weight/height, carbs intake, duration of activities, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Providing a clear overview of your daily glucose and insulin data through an easily-readable diary.
- Understanding your data with built-in graphs that show blood glucose levels, insulin dosage, blood sugar readings throughout the day, HbA1C levels, and a comparison graph for different days or weeks.
- Allowing you to print out or send reports and graphs to your doctor.
- Enabling you to track your supplies to stay informed about when your insulin is running low.
- Allowing configurable international units for various measurements (mmol/L, mg/dL, %), which also automatically translates existing entries into these units.
- Supporting the import of data from devices such as FORA's DiamondMini and Bluetooth LE based devices like AccuChek Guide and Contour Next One.
- Syncing data to other devices (Mac or iOS) with Dropbox or iCloud (requires In-App purchase).
The free version of DiabetesPal offers up to 100 entries without cloud syncing. However, the Standard License In-App Purchase allows for an unlimited number of entries. Additionally, a separate purchase for the iPhone/iPad and Mac version is required for the Cloud Sync license to enable syncing data to other devices.
